Geodis is partnering with the Community by being a responsible actor and a good citizen
WE ARE INVOLVED IN ALL OUR BUSINESS LOCATIONS
- Geodis is taking part in studies to develop methods for calculating CO2 emissions
from transport. In France, Geodis Calberson is piloting initiatives in this area for
Groupage and Express, in partnership with the Ademe, France’s environment
and energy management agency.
To support employment, we are working actively with local communities and institutions.
- Through a partnership signed in 2008 with France’s Ministry of Defence, we promote the
recruitment of military personnel reaching the end of their contract every year.
- Geodis Calberson was involved in the 2008 initiative “The employment and Equal
opportunities Train”. The aim was to set up one-to-one meetings between job
seekers and major companies.
To support local communities, our workforce conduct a wide range of initiatives in the field and promote local partnerships.
- The Geodis Foundation encourages and supports entrepreneurship and a spirit
of initiative by disabled people.
- Geodis Wilson works with the population in the countries where it is present by
taking part in local initiatives (e.g.: in Bangladesh or Argentina).
